Golf: Lantana's Blake Ladd unable to qualify for HP Byron Nelson Championship

LANTANA -- Blake Ladd didn't play as well Monday as he did Thursday and thus fell short in his attempt to qualify for the 2012 HP Byron Nelson Championships.

Golf: Argyle finishes fourth at state

AUSTIN — After trailing defending state champion Prosper by six strokes heading into the second round of the Class 3A golf tournament, Argyle finished in fourth place Friday, four strokes behind third-place Prosper.

Saturday proved to be a rough day for Denton’s Kelly Kraft at the Masters. It was an up-and-down round for the Ryan graduate that saw him finish with a 5-over-par 77, his worst score so far at Augusta National.
