Ex-police officer’s suit set for trial

A trial date is scheduled for Nov. 14 in a civil lawsuit a former Denton police officer filed against the city in February 2014. The plaintiff, Wanda Esker, a former senior duty officer at the Denton Police Department, alleges in the lawsuit that police public information Officer Ryan Grelle made “sexually inappropriate comments and touches” while they were co-workers.
