Members of the Texas Legislature are trying for the fourth time to ban texting while driving in the state. State Rep. Tom Craddick, R-Midland, filed House Bill 62 in November. State Sen. Judith Zaffirini, D-San Antonio, filed an identical bill, known as Senate Bill 31, in the Senate.
